Buh-Bye StrawberryNet hello Irish Sites….Our favourite five Irish online

The last few years has seen an explosion of on-line Irish stores and I for one am glad. Gone are the days of ordering from StrawberryNet and dreading the postman coming with my goodies and a bill for the VAT! Hello to the days were the Irish have finally copped on and started selling their wares on-line. Nowadays there are a plethora of on-line Irish Beauty Stores so there is definitely bargains to be had as competition is FIERCE!  I know a lot of our readers shop on-line so I thought I would do a quick post on our favourite five on-line Irish stores. If  you have a favourite too let me know in the comments; sure I love nothing more than a bit of enabling!  Read on »

DiscountCodes.ie launches; will extreme couponing hit Irish shores yet?

I have a confession to make and I am not overly proud of it! We all know I am a bit of a reality tv addict along with having a burning love for anything that’s discounted! So it may come as no surprise that I love watching TLC’s Extreme Couponing! I can’t help it; I am a naturally inquisitive person and think it’s amazing that plenty of Americans manage to buy a whole year’s worth of groceries by only spending a dollar. So it was big surprise to receive an email recently from the nice PR lady over at Ziaja (pronounced Ji-Ya). I had never seen the products before and I don’t remember hearing about them previously so I put on my detective hat  and started an investigation.

Neilmed Sinus Rinse: Where have you been all my life?

NeilMed Sinus Rinse

NeilMed Sinus Rinse saved me from insanity! No word of a lie folks! I have had an ongoing sinus infection since last December that was proving very difficult to shift. I was prescribed several courses of anti-biotics and an array of nasal sprays. I gutted the house and ensured all our doggie hairs and dust were vacuumed up.I steamed myself and put Olbas oil on my pillow. I rubbed Vicks into my chest on a nightly basis. In truth there was nothing I did not do to try rid myself of the horrible, painful, stuffy nosed face I’d been hauling around for months.
Another girl in my office was also, randomly, suffering with the same problem. I got an excited tweet from her about a sinus rinse a month ago, proceeded to Google “sinus rinse” and decided then and there it was not for me! It sounded nothing short of horrific! Read on »
