I am a lady full of contradictions; anything with the word natural appeals to me but likewise I have been known to part with an awful lot of money for the latest in cosmeceutical products. It’s a beauty bloggers prerogative, right?! Since becoming pregnant though I do have to tread more carefully through the world of beauty products, as both many natural and manufactured ingredients can cause issues. Read on »
This post ain’t for the faint of heart. May I present the Maybelline ColorSensational Vivid lip colour collection. I think I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

On counters now and just in time for Summer (I use the word “summer” lightly) Maybelline have 39 runway (known as a catwalk over this side of the Atlantic) inspired nail polishes on shelves nationwide. Barry M have jumped on the textured nail bandwagon, with this suspiciously similar range to Nails Inc’s “Concrete” offering, right down to the British street names. Though we do love a good budget dupe round these parts, especially with fad/trend items, so who am I to complain! I’m ready for a breath of fresh air to shake off the winter cobwebs. I’ve thrown my heavy foundation into the makeup graveyard drawer of doom, and I’m embracing the cream – cream shadows, cream blushes and BB creams! Here’s a Valentines’ day-date inspired look featuring three of my favourite products for a radiant complexion and bright eyes: La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme, Respectissime Ultra Doux Mascara and NYC Blushable Creme Stick in Big Apple Blush. My skin has been extremely dry for the past few months so I have been experimenting with products I would never usually use: face masks for dry dkin. I spent my youth and best part of my twenties using masks aimed at oily, acne prone skin. My how the tables have turned! Today I give you a run-down of what to buy and what to avoid! Let me know what you think in the comments x
Oh and one more thing. My skin is patchy dry so I am not sure if all of these products would work for full blown dry skin all over your face!

Now in fairness, I don’t agree that you would be “spoiling” your loved one by shopping in Lidl but you can pick up some pocket friendly rosemantic gifts for your loved one if you are so inclined! Read on »
I have developed a rather expensive habit of late: buying all things nail related!! Granted it’s not the worst bad habit to have but it’s proving costly none the less! Read on »
