Things that make you go mmm…. What are yours?
It’s amazing how smells can be so evocative. Catching a whiff of a roast in the oven, or a certain aftershave can transport you right back to Sunday dinners with family, or a love long lost. Some are comforting like the former, and some not so (perhaps the latter?)! The old-world scents of Oil of Olay (or Ulay as it was back then, in the pink bottle) and Max Factor Crème Puff teleport me back to my nan’s house as she “put on her face” in the mornings.
Needless to say, I’m rather olfactorily biased and I just ADORE a product with a divine scent. While my head can totally appreciate a product with a non-descript scent that works wonders, my heart is won by the fragrance.
