Missing Something? The fallout from Google Friend Connect being discontinued – a plea

By  |  2 Comments

You’re probably aware, after our post last week and other posts around the blogosphere, that Google have killed Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger blogs, to instead promote their (crap) Google Plus pages. [Google, you’re wasting your time, you’ll never beat Facebook] This has unfortunately resulted in a massive drop in traffic for non-Blogger blogs. Most of us who blog invest a huge amount of effort for no monetary return, so our readers are everything to us. I’m sure you can appreciate that this has come as a huge slap in the face.

We would really appreciate it if you would check out the link above, and subscribe to these awesome blogs by alternative means.

You can follow Dolly Rouge on:
RSS feed – add to your favourite reader (like Google Reader).

We’ve also set up a Google Plus page, and though not active at the moment we will begin adding content to it soon.

Thanks so much for making the extra effort to follow lost non-Blogger blogs. We really REALLY appreciate it.
