Behold the beauties above that are the new L’Oreal Color Riche Quad Eye-shadows; designed to make eyes smoulder and add luminosity! Priced at the super affordable €11.99 per palette and coming in a decent wardrobe of shades they really are worth a little pay-day treat. Myself and Kat got the whole collection to try and we are both really liking them.
The shadows can be applied dry like a traditional eye shadow for a subtle shimmering effect (see my swatch above) or it can also be applied wet for a full intensity metallic finish. Essentially you get the equivelent of eight effects for the price of the compact! They really are lovely; application is a cinch, colour payoff is great for the price point and there is no fallout, and boy do I hate shadows with fallout! I wore mine with Essence eyeshadow primer and my look lasted through the 30 degree heat of Crete and some sweaty dancing!
Next up I road tested some of the new Color Riche Le Khol and Le Smokey eye pencils. These cuties come with a smudger nib on one end and a Khol eyeliner on the other. I’ve been using both the brown and the black liners and really liking both. I do find I need to heat the liner in my mouth for easier application and I do prefer using it for lower lash lining only. These days I tend to stick to liquid or gel liner for my upper eyelid liner. These pencils are priced at €7.69 each and are very decent quality again for the price point.
I also got the Mega Volume 24hr Black Smoke to try but it is so Amazeballs that it deserves its very own post….so watch this space!
