Essence are a brand that holds a special place in our hearts here at Dolly Rouge HQ; they have a huge range of cheap as chips yet stellar quality products that are perfect for a payday pick me up without breaking the bank. Today I bring you some of their new release products for Autumn/Winter and as usual Essence have not failed to deliver! Let me know in the comments if you have picked anything up!
First up is their new Winter Edition 24hr Hand Protection Balms. Priced at €1.49 and available in three deliciously scented balms I predict these beauties are going to fly off the stands. If you cannot choose between Caramel Hot Chocolate, Apple Cinnamon Punch or Gingerbread Chai Latte I reckon you should just buy all three! Its hardly going to break the bank! Shea butter and Coconut Oil feature heavily in these balms so don’t fear the cheap price point.
Next up are the new KissCareLove Lipbalms priced at €1.59 each and available in four sheer shades with a fruity taste there isn’t much I do not love about these! They add a hint of colour and thanks to them being formulated with premium castor oil they glide on smoothly. Nice! Kat bought me one recently and the scent reminded me of bubblegum from my childhood.
Kat raved about the Stay All Day shadows previously and I cannot wait to get my hands on the three new metallic colours added to the collection. They will set you back €3.49 and its the best long-wear cream eye-shadow on the market for that price point. The purple and blue will be mine!
Last but by no means least Essence have added to their extensive nail polish collection with the introduction of a whopping 44 new shades! Squeeeee! The new collection boasts of a brilliant gel shine effect, an ultra fast drying formula and promises to last longer than their previous offerings. The best part? They only cost €1.79! I use Essence polish the whole time and really cannot fault them; they are perfect for experimenting with new colours too.
