Clarins Eyebrow Kit Pro: It just keeps on going and going…..

Clarins Eyebrow Kit Pro

Whilst catching up on the latest posts from some of my favorite beauty blogs I realised that I am guilty of blogging quite regularly about new products (I was reading “Shop my Stash” posts around the net). Now don’t get me wrong, I love reading about the latest trends in nail art, or what special editions brands have out at the moment, but it did make me realise I very rarely give shout outs to my most loved products. That ends this week people and to get me started I decided to review a product that has been used everyday since purchase. Put your hands together ladies for Clarins Brow Kit Pro.

I first heard of this kit over on Beaut.ie (sure where else would I be finding out about such like back in 2009?!). It promptly went on my wishlist as it costs €39.00 (I distinctly remember being smashed at the time) and there it sat for a couple of years! Fast forward to last summer’s holiday in the South of France where I finally picked up this baby at a half price sale in a cosmetic shop whose name escapes me. I paid just under 20 euros for this kit and it is definitely my best bargain buy from last year.(On a side note every year I save up a few euros extra to take on holidays purely to buy some beauty bits; it’s another thing I LOVE about holidays! I got extremely lucky last year as I stumbled upon the half price sale but usually I always come home with some bargains from the duty free).

The kit is not only super sleek with its silver packaging and accessories but it’s also pretty sturdy. The tools work as they are supposed to even if they look like they are meant to be used by little girls. The three shades of brow shadow are bound to suit most Irish ladies’ complexions. I myself hover between the brown and blonde shadow preferring a darker brow in winter and a lighter brow in summer. I’ve never had fallout or fading when using the shadows and the brow wax is soft and keeps stray hairs in place. The peach coloured shadow is for highlighting your brow arch and it does a perfect job of it. It really is a fantastic piece of kit and one that I will look forward to buying again when it eventually runs out; which I expect to be sometime in 2015! I already have it over a year and even with everyday use you can see from the photos above that there is a lot of mileage left in it.

If you’re in need of a good brow kit then I cannot recommend this enough. I’ve used a lot of brow products over the years (including Benefit’s Browzings) but this knocks the competition straight out of the water.

Love this post – I have this and it’s such a fab piece of kit, mine is almost two years old and while it looks a bit grubby these days it still does the job! xo
