Little sisters are grand to have around to “experiment” on and I have one of the bestest to practice on; there is a fine old 13yr age gap between me and Henna, which makes her my ideal guinea pig for testing out trends that I just can’t get away with these days!
Much to her relief I didn’t go too mad on her during this week’s Dolly Experiments; no bad dye jobs or blue eyeshadow/pink lips jobbies so far! This week I gave her a neon zebra mani for her troubles; so thrilled was she with it that I think she thinks of me of some kind of private manicurist at her beck and call. “My Super Sweet Sixteen” has a lot to answer for.
For her base black coat I used a gorgeous Max Factor Mini in shade #36 Lacquer Noir, which is a very glossy black. Nice. For the green and pink designs I used my newly purchased Kiss Nail Art polish kit which, by the way, are the best nail art polishes I have bought to date. The brushes are nice and thin, the colour pay off is excellent and they are really easy to use and work with. Result. I picked up a pack of three colours (neon pink, neon green and a navy blue) along with some stencils for €8.12 in my local Shaws. What do you thinks gals? Do I have a career as a manicurist in me yet?
