Nails Inc Jewellery

Last Thursday I hotfooted it to BTs in Dublin for the launch of the new Nails Inc Jewellery range of nail polish. (I use “launch” lightly as it’s officially not hitting shelves until April). I was lucky enough to attend an advance preview, if you will, and I was super impressed by what I saw.

I was treated to a two week manicure using the new glitter drenched polish; see the results above – it really is like jewellery for your nails. There are four colours launching (see info below) but in light of the fact it was St Paddy’s weekend I opted for a green glittery manicure above. The Nails Inc two week manicure involves applying 3 coats of clear gel to your natural nail which is finished with your chosen colour and sealed with their Kensington Caviar top coat. The two week manicure costs €45.00 and I had Black Taxi as my base colour and Piccadilly Arcade Nail Jewellery as the top coat. I have been receiving compliments on my manicure ever since, which is an absolute first!

The new Nail Jewellery range comes in four shades and will cost €16.50 each:

  • Burlington Arcade – Diamond
  • Piccadilly Arcade – Emerald
  • Princes Arcade – Pink Diamond
  • Royal Arcade – Sapphire

Whilst I was there I also got some brilliant nail tips from the girls on counter. First up it turns out that the cuticle balm I have been using (Burt’s Bees for those of you wondering) was really not doing its job and it was recommended that I switch to an oil to keep cuticles and surrounding skin in tip top condition. I have a habit of biting the skin around my nails (I have told you lot before that I am a classy girl!) and rather than cutting the skin or leaving it to snag I learned it’s no harm to give the skin a quick file to rid yourself of any stray bits of skin.
Another helpful tip was to never clip or cut your fingernails; always file were possible to prevent breakage and splitting; common sense you may say but it appears I am slightly lacking in the common sense department!

I was really impressed with the whole Nails Inc experience. It’s a long time since I have had a manicure  that I was happy with! Not only did I come away with great nails but some really helpful tips! The new nail jewellery range is a winner and sure to fly off the shelves. A little birdie also told me that the Nails Inc counter in BTs is moving to a larger space in the store and they are introducing pedicure chairs in time for summer! Hurrah, perfect for getting your feet in tip top condition ahead of the holidays.
