L'Oreal Superior Preference Hair Color
An advert for L’Oreal Superior Preference Hair Color came on TV the other day and himself said to be me, “Sure would you not get yourself a box of that for your hair? It would save you a fortune in hairdressers!”
If only it were that easy, right? I can really imagine Gwen Stefani getting Gavin to mind the kids of a Friday evening while she breaks her back over the bath doing her home dye…
It did get me wondering though if there are ladies out there that might be tempted?! Gwen is famous for her signature platinum hair; I’ve yet to come across a photo of her with tell-tale roots or brassy, yellow patches. Its a high maintenance look and one that certainly does not come from a box of L’Oreal Superior Preference Hair Color.
This ad really bugged the bejaysus out of me as I have “struggled” against the yellow all my blonde life. It’s just not possible to get that icy platinum look from a home dye and especially not from one you can buy in the local supermarket. Its a nice fantasy ladies but don’t be tempted. I’ve been there, done that and worn the big yellow head of hair.
